Battlefield 3: Strike At Karkand

Electronic Arts and DICE have released a trailer to show off the upcoming DLC map for Battlefield 3, Strike At Karkand.

The Back to Karkand expansion pack, free for those who pre-ordered the Battlefield 3 limited edition and also available for purchase on Xbox Live Marketplace and the Playstation Store, will be released in December.

Along with the traditional Conquest and Rush modes, Karkand will include the classic Conquest Assault – a mode in which one team begins controlling all flags on the map, and the other team must wrestle control away. In this mode, the attacking team will have more tickets than the defenders.

Conquest Assault will be available on Strike At Karkand as well as the Wake Island map.

Along with Karkand and Wake Island, two other maps will be included in the expansion: Gulf of Oman and Sharqi Peninsula.

The single-seater F35B fighter jet will also appear on runways, and a variety of new weapons – including the Type 88 sniper rifle and Jackhammer automatic shotgun.
